Privacy policy

Version of October 2026. This is an English translation of the Polish privacy policy.

1. Data controller

The controller of your data is me: Wojciech Szymański, a natural person, Poznań, Poland. Alchemicy AI is the name under which I work. Contact on data matters: dpsdrone@gmail.com.

2. What data I process and why

I give the legal bases under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (GDPR) and the Polish Electronic Communications Law of 12 July 2024 (PKE).

Form and correspondence. Data: name, email address, company or website, phone number (if provided), the content of the message and whatever you provide in email correspondence. Purpose: replying to the inquiry, calling back, preparing an example and a quote. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken at your request before entering into a contract); when you write on behalf of a company: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (my legitimate interest: discussing the job).

Form protection. When the form is sent, I record the IP address, browser data (User-Agent) and time. Purpose: protection against spam and abuse. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (my interest: a form that works without spam).

Technical connection data. The IP address, time and request address are processed by Cloudflare, which serves the site. Purpose: delivering and securing the site. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Visit statistics and comparing site versions, only with consent. Data: sections visited, clicks, approximate location, device type (Google Analytics 4) and a random browser identifier (cookie we_uid, section 3). Purpose: understanding how the site works and comparing its versions. Legal basis: consent given in the banner, i.e. Art. 399(1) PKE (storing and reading information on the device) and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (further processing). Statistical data is pseudonymous and is not combined with form data.

YouTube video, only after a click. Described in section 4.

Remembering the banner choice. An entry in browser storage, without consent, because it is necessary for the banner to work (Art. 399(3)(2) PKE).

3. Cookies and browser storage

Until you make a choice in the banner or click the video, the site stores nothing in your browser. After the choice or the click, only the data listed below is created.

aai_consent
Browser storage of this site. Set by this site after you click “Accept” or “Decline” (“Zgadzam się” or “Odmawiam” on the Polish page). Purpose: remembering your choice in the banner. Duration: until you delete the site's data in your browser. Legal basis: an entry necessary for the banner to work.
we_uid
A cookie of this site. Set by this site only after you consent to statistics. Purpose: a random browser identifier for comparing site versions. Duration: 90 days. Legal basis: consent.
Player data
Browser storage in the youtube-nocookie.com domain. Set by YouTube only after you click the play button. Purpose: running the player. Duration: until you delete the youtube-nocookie.com site data. Legal basis: consent.

You can withdraw your consent to statistics at any time by deleting this site's data in your browser (cookies and local storage). The banner will then appear again. Refusing consent does not limit the site or the form. You can set the terms of storing and accessing information in your browser settings.

4. YouTube video

The video loads only after you click the play button. Until then the site does not connect to YouTube. After the click your browser connects to YouTube servers (youtube-nocookie.com, Google Ireland Limited). Google then receives, among other things, your IP address and browser data, and the player stores in browser storage the information it needs to work, such as playback settings. The full scope is described in Google's privacy policy. I use the youtube-nocookie.com address; according to YouTube, views in this mode are not used to personalize YouTube browsing or ads shown outside this site. This mode does not prevent data from being stored on your device.

Clicking the play button is your consent to the above (Art. 399(1) PKE, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time by deleting the youtube-nocookie.com site data in your browser; this does not affect the lawfulness of what happened before the withdrawal. Without consent to the player on this site, you can watch the video directly on YouTube through the link below the player. I embed the YouTube player (YouTube API Services).

5. Recipients of data

Recipients of the data:

Apart from the entities listed, I do not pass the data to anyone and I do not sell it.

Transfers outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Cloudflare, Inc. and Google LLC are based in the USA and also process data there. The transfer is based on Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2023/1795 on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, in which both entities participate, and additionally on the standard contractual clauses they use (details in their privacy policies).

6. Retention period

Form and correspondence: up to 24 months from the last contact, or shorter if you ask for deletion. This also applies to the IP address, browser data and time recorded when the form is sent.

Google Analytics 4 statistics: user-level and event-level data for up to 14 months.

Browser storage: periods are given in section 3.

Technical connection data (Cloudflare) and player data (Google): according to the rules of those entities, referred to in sections 4 and 5.

7. Your rights

Rights. You have the right to access your data, rectify it, erase it, restrict its processing and port it. An email to the address in section 1 is enough; I will reply within one month.

Objection. When I process data on the basis of my legitimate interest, you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. On request I will present the balancing of interests.

Withdrawing consent and complaints. You can withdraw consent to statistics and to the video at any time (sections 3 and 4); this does not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office in Poland (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych).

8. Voluntary provision of data

Providing data is voluntary. To send the form you need: name, email address, company or website, and the checkbox with the information about data processing; without them you cannot send it. The phone number and the message are optional; without a number I will reply by email. Providing data is not required by law or by contract. I do not make automated decisions about you.
